About IndusInd Bank

IndusInd bank is one of the first new generation banks in India. It started commencing its operation in the year 2004. The bank has the headquarter in Mumbai and it was inaugurated by then finance minister of India Sh. Manmohan Singh. The name of the bank is influenced by the popular Indus valley civilization. The bank has started its operation with the capital base of ₹ 1,000 million which was contributed by the Non-Resident Indians as well as the Indian residents. It was the first commodities clearing corporation of India.
