About State Bank of Hyderabad
State Bank of Hyderabad was established in the year 1941 with headquarters at Hyderabad, Telangana. The bank is one of the five associate banks of State Bank of India and is one of the subsidiary of India. In the year 1956, Reserve Bank of India took over the bank as its first subsidiary and gave it the name it presently owns-State Bank of Hyderabad. In the same year, Hyderabad State had gone through the break-up and then Aurangabad, Beed, Parbhani, Nanded and Osmanabad merged with Maharashtra state and Gulbarga, Bidar, Raichur, and parts of Osmanabad were merged with Karnataka state. The remaining districts formed part of Andhra Pradesh state, until the formation in 2015-2016 of the state of Telangana. After the trifurcation of Hyderabad, the branches of State Bank continued to conduct government transactions in their new states also.
