Gold Loan:- It is a simple gold loan in which the loan amount is lent to the borrower is a maximum of 75% of the gold value. On the other hand, the bank keeps the remaining 25% as security because market fluctuations might decrease the value of the Gold. This loan is given for a maximum tenure of 3 years at an interest rate of 7.50%. If you have mortgaged the gold of ₹2 lacs then the bank will lend ₹1. 5 lacs to you.

Liquid Gold Loan:- In this Gold Loan option, you will get a certain Liquid Limit that you can withdraw against the gold. But you have to keep this thing in mind that the interest is chargeable on the actual borrowed amount and not on the liquid limit sanctioned. Suppose you get a liquid limit of ₹1 lacs and you actually borrowed ₹50 thousand as the loan then the interest will be charged on ₹50 thousand only.

Bullet Repayment Gold Loan:- This loan is best for those people in Kolkata who have the habit of clearing the loan before the expiry of the tenure. You will have to pay the interest on the loan amount for the borrowed period only and not for the full period. If you take the loan for 12 months and prepay it in 2 months then the interest will be charged for 2 months only.

• A co-applicant and a Single Applicant can take the Gold Loan .
• A regular income is required so that the individual can repay all the EMIs.
• Receipts or bills of all the Gold items, jewelry, and ornaments that are mortgaged must be shown to the bank.
