Types of SBI Gold Loans in Pune

There are three types of Gold Loans offered by the State Bank of India. You can explore all of them and then make your choice as per your needs.

Gold Loan:- It is a simple gold loan in which a maximum of 75% of the gold value is lent to the borrower. On the other hand, the bank keeps the remaining 25% as margin because market fluctuations might decrease the value of the Gold. This loan is given for a maximum tenure of 36 months at an interest rate of 7.50%. If you have mortgaged the gold of ₹3 lacs then the bank will lend ₹2.25 lacs to you.

Liquid Gold Loan:- In this option, you will get a certain Liquid Limit that you can withdraw against the value of the gold. But you have to keep this thing in mind that the interest is chargeable on the actual amount borrowed and not on the liquid limit sanctioned. Suppose you get a liquid limit of ₹5 lacs and you actually borrowed ₹1 lac as the loan then the interest will be charged on ₹1 lac only.

Bullet Repayment Gold Loan:- People living in Pune who have the habit of clearing the loan before the expiry of the tenure can choose this option of the SBI Gold Loan . You will have to pay the interest on the loan amount for the borrowed period only and not for 12 months. If you take the loan for 12 months and prepay it in 5 months then the interest will be charged for the period of 5 months only.

SBI Gold Loan Eligibility Criteria in Pune

• 18 Years is the minimum age needed to take the Loan.
• A co-applicant and a Single Applicant can take the Gold Loan .
• A regular income is required so that the individual can repay all the EMIs.
• Receipts or bills of all the Gold items, jewelry, and ornaments that are mortgaged must be shown to the bank.

• Gold Loan Application Form Signed by the Applicant.
• 2 Passport Sized Photographs.
• Aadhar Card, PAN Card, Voter ID Card, or Passport as the Identity Proof.
• Driving License, Telephone Bill, Electricity Bill as the Address Proof.
