In an e to bring uniformity and speed in providing services to the citizens of India and reduce the scope of disputes relating to a property by bringing more transparency in maintaining Record of Rights of properties, the Government of India launched National Land Records Modernisation Program. (NLRMP). The program directed State Governments to create divisions for taking the program ahead.

The state government of Madhya Pradesh hence launched MP Bhulekh. As the name suggests, it supports the citizens and landowners of the state to get information in regards to records of rights, khasra, khatauni, Land Map, Jamabandi, etc.

Aim of Bhulekh Madhya Pradesh

Maintenance of Land records has always involved corruption and disputes due to manual intervention leading to legal disputes on property in the past. Bhulekh MP’s launch is aimed to minimize this issue for the landowners. The launch of this portal has reduced the physical rushing of the landowners to various offices. This is also helping in the reduction of corruption involved in maintaining the records.

Services Offered by Bhulekh MP

The portal offers various free and chargeable services. You can easily download the application forms or view Khasra details of the property without paying any fee. All you need to do is logon to the website Bulekh Madhya Pradesh and browse to the Free Services section and proceed further as required.

The portal also consists of few charged services that include applying for issuance of khasra, issuance of a land map, Details of Khatauni (B1), conversion, and partition of land parcel.

All these services can either be opted for by the citizens from their own place using the portal or by visiting the sub-registrar office’s IT department.

Land Conversion

India is geographically a huge land. Every land has a defined purpose of use in the country that is agricultural, residential, commercial, and industrial purposes. Various parts of the country are still under Agricultural use. The agricultural landowners have now opted to construct houses or offices on such pieces of land. Before proceeding with such constructions they need to apply and avail the land conversion certificate.

You can apply for the land conversion online using the portal. You need to register on the portal and intimate about the conversion of land. To proceed with the land conversion, you are required to pay the fee involved.

Land Conversion Fee

As per the Madhya Pradesh Land Record Act 2018, as per the land type and location, premium and land revenue fee is defined per square feet. You are required to pay the premium and one-year land revenue to the department.

The fee is payable online on the portal. It is suggested by the Government of Madhya Pradesh, you should keep a copy of the challan generated for the fee payment. The portal provides a secured gateway to make the fee payment online using net banking, and cards.
