IDBI Bank Grievance Redressal Details

The grievance redressal system of the bank is split into three levels. Here, home loan customers can register via diverse channels including phone banking, branch, emails, letters, and website.

Branch Head - Level 1

Customers can approach the branch or unit heads to lodge their complaints. The other ways to get in touch with IDBI Bank customer care are as follows:

Fill an Online Complaint Form and Submit it

There is a grievance redressal form available on the website of IDBI Bank under the banking complaints section. Access it from option 2 under Level 01. Enter the details such as customer ID, account number, mobile number, Email ID, and complaint type and submit it. You can register only one complaint at a time. The status of the complaint can be tracked through the option“Track Complaint Status”

Once you register your complaint with the bank, a unique complaint ID will be created.

If the bank does not resolve the complaint within 8 working days of receiving it or if you do not get a proper answer, then the issue can be escalated to Level 2.

While lodging a complaint, the customer has to provide the following information:

  • Full name
  • Account details (Account number/customer ID) for the present customer
  • Contact details (Address, telephone number, and email).
  • Reference number of the transaction or complaint ID, based on the purpose of contact.
  • You can also approach the internal ombudsman of the bank.

Level 2

If you are not satisfied with the solution received for your complaint at level 1 within 6 working days, then you can approach the grievance redressal officer between 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. from Monday to Saturday (Except the 2nd and 4th Saturday of the month).

Level 3

If your complaint is not resolved according to your satisfaction by the GROs within 10 working days, then you can contact the principal nodal officer (PNO) between 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. from Monday to Saturday (Except the 2nd and 4th Saturday of the month).
