Ooty is a wonderful hill station located in the Nilgiri Hills of southern India. It is a land of picturesque spots and pristine beauty. 1. Government Botanical Gardens
You can trace a variety of ferns, herbs, shrubs, bonsai plants and tall trees in the Botanical Gardens of Ooty. Spread across 22 hectares of land, these gardens are situated on the slopes of the Doddabetta peak. Its terrace like layout adds charm to the place.

2. Wax World Museum
It is a cultural and heritage site where you will get to see the wax statues of the eminent figures. It is an Indian replica of Madame Tussaud. It's just 2 km away from the city center on National Highway 67.

3. Avalanche Lake
It is a beautiful place surrounded by blooming flowers. The sanctuary in its vicinity is a home to various wild animals like Tiger, Leopard, Gaur, Barking Deer, Nilgiri Langur etc. A rich variety of flora and fauna can be traced here.The combine view of flora and fauna is a treat to human eyes.

4. Mukurthi National Park Ooty
The National Park is spread over an area of about 80 square kilometers and has four entry passages. Several streams and rivers running through the park are frequently visited by the different species of fauna. There are also a few watch towers built by the Forest Department .

5. Shooting Point

6. Needle Rock View Point
