Link Aadhaar to LPG Connection Online

The government of India also offers an online mode for people who want to get an LPG connection. However, in order to use this online mode customers must have an internet connection. The following are the steps to link Aadhaar to an LPG connection online:

• Visit the government’s official UIDAI website
• Fill in the required information
• Select the benefit type as “LPG”
• Enter the name of your scheme, “BPCL” in case of Bharat Gas Connection and “IOCL” in case of Indane Gas Connection
• Select the Distributor’s name and enter your LPC Consumer Number
• Carefully enter your Aadhaar number along with your phone number and email address
• Click on the “Submit” button
• Enter the OTP received on your registered mobile number and email address
• Your details will then be verified by the appropriate authority and you will be notified on your email address as well as your registered mobile number

Link Aadhaar to LPG Connection through Call Centre

Another method to get your Aadhaar card linked to your LPG connection is through a call centre. All you need to do is call on 18000-2333-555 and follow the operator’s instructions. This is the most simple method to get your Aadhaar linked with your gas connection. The whole process takes very less time and is very simple to execute. Anyone with a gas connection can use this toll free number to link their Aadhaar card with their LPG connection.

Link Aadhaar to LPG Connection through Post

If you wish to manually link your Aadhaar card with your LPG connection, then you can download the subsidy registration form from the official website and mail it to the address listed on the LPG gas connection provider's website. The whole registration process will be automated and you will get your Aadhaar linked with your gas connection.

Link Aadhaar to LPG connection via IVRS

Another option for linking your Aadhaar card to LPG is the Interactive Voice Response System (IVRS). Every LPG company installed the system for the convenience of their customers.

Indane Gas Customers : Customers with Indane Gas connections can visit the official Indane website and locate their District Number before dialling through IVRS mode, then follow the operators' instructions.

Bharat Gas Customers : To link Aadhaar to a Bharat Gas LPG connection, customers must go to the official Bharat Gas website and make a call through IVRS.

HP Gas Customers : Similarly, to link Aadhaar to their HP gas connections, HP Gas customers must visit the official Hindustan Petroleum Gas website. Customers can then make an IVRS call and follow the operator's instructions to complete the process.

Through Message : In order to link your Aadhaar with your LPG connection via message, you must first have your mobile number registered with your LPG connection distributor. Then, to use the services, send an SMS from the registered mobile number.

Subsidy Amount on LPG

Here are some pointers to help you check the credited subsidy amount in your bank account and the process

• When the customer registers for the subsidy, an advance deposit is made into his or her bank account. This is a one-time, permanent deposit for a one-year subscription to LPG cylinders. Following this, no deposits are made in that year.
• Customers are limited to a certain number of cylinders per year and must pay the current market price when booking a cylinder.
• If the customer decides to discontinue the scheme or the LPG cylinder connection, the dues will be adjusted accordingly.
