How to Register Maha Bank UPI App?
To start using the BHIM Maha UPI app, follow these steps to register:
- Download the App : Install the MahaMobile Plus app from the Google Play Store or Apple App Store. Ensure you’re using the mobile number registered with your Bank of Maharashtra account.
- Accept Terms : Open the app and accept the Terms and Conditions.
- Verify Mobile Number : Tap “Send SMS” to verify your registered mobile number. The app will send an SMS to confirm your number. If verification fails, you may receive an OTP after 45 seconds or be prompted to dial a USSD code.
- Select Bank Account : Choose your Bank of Maharashtra account from the list of linked accounts.
- Create UPI PIN : Select “Generate UPI PIN,” enter your debit card’s 6-digit number and expiry date, and verify with an OTP sent by the bank. Set a 4- or 6-digit UPI PIN for transaction authentication.

Bank of Maharashtra UPI Limit per Month / per Year
The National Payments Corporation of India (NPCI) sets standard UPI transaction limits, but banks can impose their own caps within these guidelines. For Bank of Maharashtra:
- Daily Limit : ₹1,00,000 per day for general transactions (P2P and P2M). For specific categories like capital markets, insurance, and foreign inward remittances, the limit is ₹2,00,000, and for IPOs, retail direct schemes, hospitals, and educational institutions, it’s ₹5,00,000 per transaction.

How to Increase Bank of Maharashtra UPI Limit?
To increase your UPI transaction limit beyond the standard cap:

How to Send Money by Using Maha Bank UPI App?

- Select BHIM UPI : Tap on the “BHIM UPI” option from the app’s dashboard.
- Choose Pay Option : Click on “Pay” and select the UPI ID, mobile number, or bank account details of the recipient.
- Add Beneficiary (Optional) : If the recipient is not in your payee list, select the payment mode (UPI ID, Account + IFSC, or MMID), enter their details, and verify.
- Enter Amount : Input the amount to send and add optional remarks.

Note : If the recipient doesn’t have a UPI ID, you can send money using their bank account number and IFSC code.
How to Collect Money Through the Bank of Maharashtra UPI App?
To request or collect money:
- Log In : Open the MahaMobile Plus app and log in.
- Select Collect Option : Tap on “BHIM UPI” and choose the “Request Money” or “Collect” option from the dashboard.
- Enter Details : Input the payer’s UPI ID, the amount, remarks, and validity date for the request.
- Submit Request : Click “Submit” to send the request. You’ll receive a reference number for tracking.
