SBI Mobile Banking Registration
To register for State Bank of India (SBI) mobile banking using the YONO SBI or YONO Lite app, follow these steps:
Online Registration via YONO SBI/YONO Lite App
- Download the App:
- Install the YONO SBI or YONO Lite app from the Google Play Store (Android 6.0+) or Apple App Store (iOS 11.0+). Ensure you download it from official sources.
- Open the App:
- Launch the app and select “New User Registration” or “Register”.
- Choose Registration Method:
- With Internet Banking Credentials (if already registered for SBI Net Banking):
- Click “Yes” for “Do you have Internet Banking activated?”
- Enter your Internet Banking User ID and Password.
- Receive an OTP on your registered mobile number, enter it, and set a 6-digit MPIN for quick login.
- Complete registration and log in with your MPIN or biometric authentication (if enabled).
- With Debit Card (ATM Card) (for users without Internet Banking):
- Click “No” for “Do you have Internet Banking activated?”
- Select “Register for YONO with my ATM Card”.
- Enter your Account Number and CIF Number (found in your passbook or bank statement).
- Provide your Debit Card number and PIN.
- Receive an OTP on your registered mobile number, enter it, and submit.
- Set a 6-digit MPIN and confirm it.
- With Internet Banking Credentials (if already registered for SBI Net Banking):
- Activate Mobile Banking:
- Send an SMS with “MBSREG” to 9223440000 or 567676 from your registered mobile number to receive a User ID and default MPIN.
- Log in to the app using the received User ID and default MPIN.
- Accept the terms and conditions, then change the default MPIN to a new 6-digit MPIN of your choice.
- Complete Registration:
- After setting the new MPIN, you’ll receive a confirmation SMS indicating successful activation.
- Log in to access services like balance inquiries, fund transfers, bill payments, and more.

SBI Whatsapp Mobile Banking
State Bank of India (SBI) offers WhatsApp Banking services, allowing customers to perform basic banking activities through WhatsApp. This service is user-friendly and requires no app installation beyond WhatsApp itself.
