Overview

Canara Robeco Mutual Fund is the second oldest Mutual Fund in India, formed in December 1987 as Canbank Mutual Fund. Later on, in 2007, Canara Robeco Mutual Fund came up into existence as a result of the partnership between Canara Bank and Robeco. Since then, it has persistently been one of the rapid growing mutual funds in India in terms of Assets Under Management. This mutual fund company offers a wide range of investment products such as diversified and thematic schemes, hybrid and monthly income funds and a broad range of debt and treasury products.

Canara Robeco Asset Management Company is the investment manager of Canara Robeco Mutual Fund which in actual is a joint venture between Canara Bank and Robeco of the Netherlands, a global asset management company. The joint venture brings to the Indian market a mix of both Canara Bank’s experience and Robeco’s global experience in asset management.

The assets of Canara Robeco Mutual Fund are managed by CRAMC under the purview of Investment Management Agreement dated 16th June 1993 (as amended from time to time).

5. Exchange Traded Fund

Exchange traded funds or ETFs invest in a combination of securities that indicates the composition of a tracked index but are traded throughout the day on an exchange like stocks. Investors derive benefits through trading them on an exchange during the day. Canara Robeco Gold Exchange Traded Fund (CRGETF) is the only mutual fund scheme which is offered by Canara Robeco Mutual Fund.
