Festive Offers Calling – ICICI Bank Announces 20% Cashback on Credit Card Spends for Home Loan Borrowers

Sometimes one gift leads to many in the house. And it fits aptly in the case of ICICI Bank Home Loan Borrowers as the private lender has announced a cashback of 20% on the debit and credit card spends for them. So, the borrowers who get a home loan sanction or transfer the other bank’s outstanding balance to ICICI Bank between September 1, 2017, and November 30, 2017, will be eligible for this festive offer. These customers are entitled to a cashback of 20% on a minimum spend of ₹30,000 via an ICICI Bank credit or debit card. The maximum cashback, however, is limited to ₹10,000.

Other Lenders Waived Off Processing Fee to Incite Festive Mood

Intensifying the festive offer battle among the lenders, the country’s largest bank State Bank of India (SBI), a couple of weeks ago, announced to waive off the entire processing fee on a car loan till December 31, 2017. At the same time, the bank has cut the processing fee on gold and personal loans by 50% each till October 31, 2017. Bank of Maharashtra (BoM), taking cue from the competition, has also waived off the processing fee on a home loan and vehicle loan. Similarly, Bajaj Finserv has also joined the festive offer bandwagon by slashing the processing fee on a home loan above 25 lakhs by 50%.
