About State Bank of Patiala Pune

A subsidiary of the State Bank of India, State Bank of Patiala(SBP) was incorporated in 1917 by Late His Highness Bhupinder Singh, the Maharaja of erstwhile Patiala state. SBP commenced its operations from one branch named 'Chowk Fort', in Patiala. During its inception, the state-owned Bank was called as Patiala State Bank. Later on, the bank got nationalized in 1948 and brought under the control of Reserve Bank of India. Since then, the business of the bank has grown manifold encompassing products on offers like e-products(ATM Card and International Card), personal banking, agriculture and rural banking, NRI Services, SME & Corporate Banking, Government Business and Internet Banking.
