But the preferred document by any banking institution or non-banking institution is the Aadhaar card. Download Aadhaar Card through Aadhaar Number
- Go to the official website of Aadhaar card https://uidai.gov.in/
- Then make a click on the Get Aadhaar option.
- Now click on the Download Aadhaar option.
- Under the I Have Section click on the Aadhaar Number Option.
- Then enter the 12-digit Aadhaar Number in the box.
- Enter the Captcha Verification Code and then Click on the Send OTP button to get the one-time password.
- An OTP will be sent to your registered mobile number.
- Enter the OTP that you have received on your mobile number.
- Then click on the Verify and Download option to download an e-Aadhaar copy of your Aadhaar.
Get Aadhaar Card Through Name and Date of Birth
- Visit the UIDAI official website that is https://uidai.gov.in/
- Then on the home page click on Get Aadhaar .
- In the given options you will have to click on Retrieve Lost or Forgotten EID/UID.
- Select the Aadhaar Number
- option on that page .
- Now enter your full name .
- You can either provide your registered e-mail ID or mobile number.
- Then enter the captcha verification code.
- Click on the Send OTP option and an OTP will be sent to your registered mobile number.
- Enter the OTP you have received and then click on Login .
- Then a pop-up message will appear on the screen that says your Aadhaar number is sent to your registered mobile number.

Download Aadhaar Without a Registered Mobile Number
If you haven’t registered your number on the UIDAI and want to download an Aadhaar card then you can follow the steps given below to download it.
- You must visit any Aadhaar center with your Aadhaar number nearby you.
- Give them the needed bio-metric details for verification like thumb verification, retina scan, etc.
- You will also have to carry an identity proof like PAN Card with you.
- The concerned person at the center will give you the printout of your Aadhaar Card.
- Note that normal paperwork charges will be applicable in this whole process.
Use Enrolment Number to Download Aadhaar Card
- Open official website of Aadhaar card that is https://uidai.gov.in/
- Then go to the Get Aadhaar option on that page.
- Now click on the Download Aadhaar option.
- Then under the, I Have Section click on the Enrolment ID (EID) Option.
- Then enter the 14-digit EID Number in the box.
- Provide the Captcha Verification Code and then make a click on the Send OTP button.
- You will receive an OTP on your registered mobile number.
- Enter the OTP that you have received on your mobile number.
- Finally, click on the Verify and Download option to get an e-Aadhaar copy of your Aadhaar.
Download Aadhaar Card through Virtual ID Number
- Visit the official website of UIDAI on your PC or laptop.
- Then click on the Get Aadhaar option on that page.
- Now click on the Download Aadhaar option on the next page.
- Choose the Virtual ID (VID) option under the I Have head.
- Provide the 16-digit VID number on the screen.
- Enter the Captcha shown in the box and then click on the Send OTP button to receive the OTP.
- You will receive the OTP on your registered mobile number.
- Now enter the OTP you have received on your number.
- Then finally, click on the Verify and Download option to download your Aadhaar card.
