Step 1: To begin the process, visit either of the two official UIDAI links (https://uidai.gov.in/ or  https://myaadhaar.uidai.gov.in/genricPVC). The first is the general link, which allows more options than requesting a PVC Aadhaar card. The second one takes you to directly begin the process.

Step 2: Enter the already known 12-digit Aadhaar Number, UID, or 28-digit Enrollment ID. Enter the security code provided on the screen.

Step 3: You must opt to receive between the OTP on your mobile number or any other number. You can choose the first option if your mobile number is registered while choosing the second option if it is not. You will get the OTP based on your choice. Click the checkbox mentioning ‘Terms and Conditions’ and click on the ‘Submit’ button for verification. Read the terms and conditions after clicking the hyperlink.

Step 4: The screen will display a preview of your Aadhaar details. Crosscheck all the details and click on the ‘Make Payments’ button.

Step 1:

Visit the official website of UIDAI (https://www.uidai.gov.in/en/?catid=0&tmpl=component&faqid=46 orhttps://myaadhaar.uidai.gov.in/CheckAadhaarStatus).  Click on the Check Aadhaar update status to know the PVC card status.

Step 2:

Enter the Enrolment ID, SRN or URN to check the Aadhaar status. It is printed on the top of the enrolment or update acknowledgement slip. Further, enter the captcha displayed on the right side of the screen.

Step 3:

You must opt for the OTP option on your registered or unregistered mobile number. Check in the terms and conditions box and click on the submit button.

Step 4:

The newly loaded page will display the ‘SRN’ number and Aadhaar PVC status. You will have the option to download the acknowledgement slip in pdf format.
