So, the institutions go through the Aadhaar Card Verification process to verify the authenticity of the Aadhaar and the individual who is submitting the Aadhaar. Verification of Aadhaar Card

The validity of the Aadhaar Card can be verified through the official website of UIDAI. You will find the following details if you do the Aadhaar Verification Online:-

  • Age of the Aadhaar Cardholder
  • Gender of the Aadhaar Cardholder
  • State in which the Aadhaar Cardholder Lives

Online Aadhaar Card Verification

You can verify the Aadhaar Card online through the official website of UIDAI. You can follow the simple steps given below to verify the Aadhaar:-

  • Visit the official website of UIDAI website on your PC or Laptop
  • Expand the My Aadhaar Tab and under the Aadhaar Services section, on the Verify and Aadhaar Number Link.
  • You will be redirected to a new page.
  • Then provide the 12-digit Aadhaar Number given on your Aadhaar Card.
  • Enter the Captcha Code given in the box and then click on the Proceed And Verify Aadhaar Button.
  • After clicking on the Verication Button you will get the Status “Aadhaar Verification Completed with the Aadhaar Number Exists confirmation.
  • The message will include the Age Band, Gender, State, and the Last 3 Digits of your Registered Mobile number.

Offline Aadhaar Card Verification

You can verify your Aadhaar Offline through a Zip file that contains the paperless e-KYC. You will just have to share the ZIP file with the share code and registered mobile number to the institution that is asking for the Aadhaar Card Verification.

In order to do Paperless e-KYC, you will have to follow the steps given below:-

  • Visit the official website of UIDAI on your PC or Laptop.
  • Then in the My Aadhaar Tab, click on the Aadhaar Paperless Offline e-KYC (Beta) link.
  • Provide your 12-digit Aadhaar Number or you can even enter 16 digits VID.
  • Then you will have to Create a Share Code of 4-characters.
  • Now enter the Security Code that you see on your screen and verify the same through OTP.
  • Finally, the ZIP file will be downloaded on your PC or Laptop.

Check Deactivation Status of Aadhaar

If you want to know the status of your Aadhaar whether it is deactivated or not, you can follow the steps given below:-

  • Open UIDAI's official website on your PC or Laptop
  • Go to the My Aadhaar Tab and click on the Verify and Aadhaar Number Link under the Aadhaar Services section.
  • A new page will open in front of you.
  • Enter the 12-digit Aadhaar Number given on your Aadhaar Card and provide the Captcha Code given in the box.
  • Then click on the Proceed And Verify Aadhaar Button and if it doesn’t show any verification then your Aadhaar is deactivated.
