IDFC First Bank Net Banking

1. Visit the Official Website:

   • Go to the bank website and click "Login" at the top-right corner.

   • Select "Continue to Login" on the next page.

2. Start Registration:

   • On the login page (my.idfcfirstbank.com/login), click "New to Net Banking" or "Register Now."

3. Enter Details:

   • Provide your Customer ID (found in your welcome kit, account statement, or chequebook) and the account number linked to your registered mobile number.

   • Click "Continue."

4. Authenticate:

   • Select "Generate Online Password" and click "Proceed."

   • Enter your IDFC First Bank Debit Card number, ATM PIN, and card expiry date.

   • Accept the terms and conditions, then click "Generate OTP."

5. Set Credentials:

   • Enter the OTP received on your registered mobile number.

   • Create a new User ID (6-10 characters, alphanumeric) and Password (6-15 characters, alphanumeric with special characters).

   • Enable the "Transaction Facility" option if you want to perform transactions.

   • Click "Confirm" to complete the registration.

6. Login:

   • Use your new User ID and Password to log in to the Net Banking portal.

Alternative: Visit an IDFC First Bank branch, fill out the Net Banking registration form, and submit it with required documents. Your credentials will be sent to your registered phone/email.

• You don’t "know" your Net Banking password unless you’ve set it and remember it, as it’s created by you during registration or reset.

• If Forgotten:

  • Follow the reset process (see "How to Reset IDFC Net Banking Password?" below).

  • The bank doesn’t store or display your password for security reasons; you must reset it to regain access.

• Initial Password: If you registered via a branch, a temporary password is mailed to your registered address within 5-7 days, which you change upon first login.

1. Check Bank Documents:

   • Look in your welcome kit, account statement, chequebook, or the first page of your passbook—it’s typically labeled as "Customer ID" or "CIF ID."

2. Via Net Banking:

   • Log in to my.idfcfirstbank.com/login with your User ID and Password.

   • On the dashboard, go to "Manage Profile" or "Account Details" to view your Customer ID.

3. Via Mobile Banking:

   • Open the IDFC First Bank Mobile Banking app.

   • Swipe the menu from the left, and your Customer ID will be displayed alongside your name.

4. Via Email:

   • If your mobile number is registered, request your Customer ID via the app or website:

     • Go to "Customer Service" > "Get Customer ID on Registered Email."

     • Enter the OTP sent to your phone, and the ID will be emailed.

5. Other Methods:

   • Call customer care at 1800 2700 720, verify your identity (account number, mobile number), and request your Customer ID.

   • Visit a branch with ID proof to retrieve it.

1. Online Reset:

   • Go to my.idfcfirstbank.com/login.

   • Click "Forgot Password" or "Generate Online Password/Forgot Password."

   • Enter your User ID and registered mobile number or bank account number.

   • Click "Continue."

   • Authenticate with:

     • OTP sent to your registered mobile number, or

     • Debit Card details (number, ATM PIN, expiry date).

   • Enter the OTP or verify Debit Card details.

   • Set a new password (6-15 characters, alphanumeric with special characters).

   • Confirm the new password and log in.

2. Customer Care:

   • Call 1800 2700 720, verify your identity, and request a password reset. A temporary password may be sent to your registered contact details.

3. Branch:

   • Visit an IDFC First Bank branch with your account details and ID proof. They’ll provide a temporary password, which you can change online.

"Generate" typically applies to creating a password for the first time or resetting it. The process is the same as registration or reset:

1. During Registration:

   • Follow the steps under "How to Register for IDFC First Net Banking?" above. You’ll generate your password after authenticating with OTP or Debit Card details.

2. If Already Registered:

   • Use the "Forgot Password" option (see "How to Reset IDFC Net Banking Password?" above).

   • Log in to Net Banking > "Customer Service" > "PIN/Password Management" (if available) to generate a new password after verifying your identity.

3. Key Requirements:

   • Password must be 6-15 characters, include alphabets, numbers, and special characters (e.g., @, #).

   • You’ll need your registered mobile number or Debit Card for authentication.
