About Bharatiya Mahila Bank Fixed Deposit
Bhartiya Mahila Bank Ltd, incorporated under Companies Act 1956 on August 5, 2013, is established with a view to economically empower the women as well as weaker sections of India. The bank, which received the banking license from the Reserve Bank of India (RBI) on Sep 25, 2013, has made for itself by opening more than 100 branches across the country in such a short span of time. Here, you can find a rich suite of products designed for women in all section of the society like women entrepreneurs, salaried women, corporates, HNIs, Self Help Groups, etc.
The bank offers three types of fixed deposits- BMB Simple FD, BMB Tax Benefit and BMB Cumulative FD. The interest rates in these schemes range from 5%-7% in a period of 7 days-10 years. Check out below the interest rate for all the deposit amount and periods.

Note- Senior citizens can avail an additional interest rate of 0.50% for deposits below Rs. 1 crore, irrespective of the maturity period.

BMB TAX BENEFIT
- Minimum deposit amount – Rs. 100 and in multiples of Rs. 100
- Maximum deposit amount-Rs. 1,50,000 in a financial year

- Maximum deposit period-10 years
- Gains tax exemption under Section 80C of the Income Tax Act
- Premature withdrawal not allowed before 5 years
Fixed Deposit Application Form of Bharatiya Mahila Bank
Opening a fixed deposit account at Bharatiya Mahila Bank requires you to fill in the application form, which you can get online as well as offline. The form is available at the bank’s website in the section titled ‘Forms Center’ or at the nearest branch. Submit the form along with relevant documents and a cheque bearing the deposit amount to the concerned bank official who will investigate the details thereafter. Upon successful verification, the bank will open a fixed deposit account.
