The DDA Housing Scheme 2021 was lauched on January 2, 2021, and will continue till February 16, 2021. This time around, the Delhi Development Authority (DDA) has launched nearly 1,350 flats located primarily in Dwarka, Manglapuri, Jasola and Vasantkunj. Like what has been the case for the last couple of years, this DDA scheme too is linked with Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana (Urban) so that you could get interest subsidy on your home loan according to the income bracket you belong to. DDA Housing Scheme 2021 Application Money

DDA Housing Scheme 2020

The DDA has started planning for the Housing Scheme 2020 slated to launched in May. The scheme will most likely have 5,000 flats of which 1,000 are luxury units. It will also have super Higher Income Group (HIG) flats. A total of 1,114 flats would be constructed that may include 14 penthouses, 168 super HIG and 932 HIG flats, according to the DDA official.

DDA Offers 10%-40% Concession on Flats

The Delhi Development Authority is giving concessions to the prices of flats built under the housing scheme. The 8,500 DDA flats, which are yet to be bought by customers, include EWS category flats as well. You can get a discount of 10% to 40% on the 2019 residential plans, in addition to the 30% concession on flats built near the Akshardham Temple during the Commonwealth Games. your flat purchase under the DDA housing scheme. Now, you can pay the remaining amount of the old flats until 30th August 2020.

DDA Housing Scheme

The DDA launched 18,000 flats by the end of March 2019. The DDA flats for sale in 2019 are in Dwarka, Kalkaji, Vasant Kunj, Rohini sector 34 and in South Delhi. Most of the flats launched under this first round of allotment of DDA housing scheme 2019 will be one-bedroom sets for economically weaker sections (EWS).

Rescently, the development authority launched first phase of housing scheme online on first come first served basis. As soon as the online window will open, applicants can book a flat by making initial payment. There are total 1250 flats available for booking today and all these flats are 1-BHK apartments.

The scheme is for people from lower income group/expendable houses/middle income group. DDA is offering nearly 21,000 homes through its scheme. The next housing scheme of the Delhi Development Authority is likely to be launched in two phases next year. The new project of DDA would bring in 10,000 flats in the first lot. When is the online registration for DDA Housing Scheme begin?

A total no of 20,980 flats are being offered out of which 3622 are for Janata or EWS (economically weaker sections), 16,298 for LIG (low-income group) flats, 579 for MIG (middle-income group) and 488 for HIG (high-income group) houses. The flats covered under the scheme will be located in areas such as Vasant Kunj, Kalkaji, Dwarka, Rohini Sector- 34, Narela, Siraspur, etc.

Where to get DDA Housing Scheme Application Brochure Online?

DDA has signed up with 10 lenders namely Axis Bank, Yes Bank, IDBI, Bank of Baroda, Central Bank, SBI, Kotak Mahindra, HDFC, ICICI and Canara Bank. The application brochures are available at INR 200, inclusive of all taxes at these banks. You can also download the form online through the official website of DDA.

Who are eligible for DDA?

Only eligible applicants can apply for DDA Housing Scheme 2019. The eligibility for the same is as follows:

  • The applicant must be citizen of India.
  • The applicant should have attained the age of 18 years.
  • The applicant must not own any residential house or plot in full or in part, on leasehold/freehold basis in New Delhi, Delhi or Delhi cantonment, either in his/her own name or in the name of his/her wife/husband/minor dependent children.
  • If however, the share of the applicant in the jointly owned plot or land under the residential house is less than 66.9 square meters, he/she can apply under any of the schemes.
  • A person who has already been allotted a house/flat constructed by DDA or any other land/owning agency even if it is less then 66.9 sq mtrs, shall not be eligible for allotment under any of the schemes of DDA.

The prices of the flats under DDA have been kept low so that it is within the reach of the majority. The flats are in the range of INR 7.5 lakh to INR 1.44 crore. What’s Different in DDA Housing Scheme 2017?

In the case of emerging the winner in the lucky draw, you would need need to pay the remaining cost of the house after depositing the application fee. The concerned banks won’t finance the application fee for the flats on a minimum fee of INR 5,000 which was paid by the customers to avail the service the last time around when the scheme was launched. You can get the finance of the application, but on a personal loan basis. If you opt for a personal loan to pay the application fee to the DDA, you should look at the interest rate and the applicable EMI of the tied up banks. What About Charges on Surrender of Application in DDA Flats Housing Scheme 2017?

In the event of a prospective buyer surrendering the application prior to the date of a lucky draw, nothing would be deducted. But doing so after the draw and before the demand letter will lead to the forfeiture of the application money or the registration fee, whichever you would like to call, to the tune of 25%.

Who are Eligible to Apply for DDA Flats 2017?

  • Any Indian national with an age of 18 years and above at the time of filing the form.
  • The applicant must not own a flat under his/her, spouse or under children’s name in Delhi.
  • An applicant can submit only one application.
  • Both husband and wife can apply for the scheme individually. But if both of them are named in the lucky draw, only one can retain the flat.
  • An applicant must have a PAN number which he/she must quote in the application form.

Documents Required to Apply for DDA Flats 2017 in Delhi

You are required to submit the self-attested copy of the following documents while applying for the said housing scheme.

  • Residence Proof-Government Card, Driving License, Passport, Voter ID, Water Bill Electricity Bill, Telephone Bill, Ration Card, Aadhaar Card, House Tax Receipt, Bank Passbook showing the name and address,
  • PAN Card
  • ITR filed for 2015-16 with 2016-17 as the financial year
  • Relevant documents to identify the people belonging to Scheduled Caste (ST), Scheduled Tribe (ST), Physically Handicapped or other categories which get reservation
