About IndusInd Bank

The IndusInd bank is one of the private banks which has been established with the equal contribution by the Indian residents as well as the Non-Resident Indians. The bank has established the vision of the founder of Hinduja group and renowned NRI businessman Mr. S.P. Hinduja. The headquarter of the bank ios in the commercial capital of India, Mumbai. The bank was inaugurated by then Finance minister Sh. Manmohan Singh. The bank was established to contribute to the developing economy and social sector. The bank was set up in the year 1994 with the capital value of 1000 million. Out of this money, around 600 million was raised by the Indian Residents and rest was raised and contributed by the NRIs. The bank is growing leap and bounds and has currently around more than 1000 branches and 1,800 ATMs to cater the requirements of the customers.

The name of the bank has been influenced by the famous and ancient Indus valley civilization. The bank is determined to keep the spirit of innovation along with the trade and business practices intact.
