Overview

Peerless Funds Management Co. Ltd (PFMCL), sponsored by The Peerless General Finance and Investment Company Limited (PGFI), is the investment manager to the first mutual fund in the eastern region headquartered in Kolkata.

Peerless Mutual Fund (the “Mutual Fund”) has been authorized as a trust on 4th August,2009 as per the provisions of the Indian Trusts Act, 1882 (2 of 1882) with The Peerless General Finance and Investment Company Limited (PGFI), as the Sponsor and Peerless Trust Management Company Limited as the trustee to the Mutual Fund. The registration of the Deed of Trust has been done under the Indian Registration Act, 1908. Under the Registration Code MF/062/09/03, the mutual fund got registered with SEBI on December 4th , 2009.

Peerless Funds Management Company Limited has been entrusted as the Investment Manager of the Mutual Fund by the Trustee vide Investment Management Agreement (IMA) dated, 11th August 2009, and executed between the Trustee and the AMC.

    The products of Peerless Mutual Fund is classified as under:

    1. Peerless Liquid Fund

This fund has been designed to offer a high level of liquidity with equitable returns corresponding with low risk through a portfolio of money market and debt securities.

2. Peerless Ultra Short Term Fund

This fund is aimed towards offering suitable returns and liquidity to the investors by investing predominately in a combination of money market and short-term debt securities which results in a portfolio consisting of marginally higher maturity as against a liquid fund at the same time thereby, maintaining a balance between safety and liquidity.

3. Peerless Income Plus Fund

This fund is aimed to provide consistent income through a portfolio primarily consisting of high quality fixed income instruments and with a marginal exposure to equity and equity related securities.

4. Peerless Short Term Fund

This fund aims to generate income and capital growth by investing in a diversified portfolio of debt and money market instruments.

5. Peerless 3 In 1 Fund

This fund is aimed to generate long term capital growth through a portfolio of fixed income instruments, Gold Exchange Traded Funds(ETFs) of other mutual funds and gold related securities, equity and equity related securities as well.

6. Peerless Equity Fund

This fund is focussed towards generating long term capital growth by investing in an actively managed portfolio primarily comprised of equity and equity related instruments which spread across various sectors.

7. Peerless Long Term Advantage Fund

This scheme is designed to invest primarily in a diversified portfolio of equity and equity related securities with an aim to offer investors with avenues of capital growth and income generation along with the advantage of income tax exemption(under Section 80 C of the Income Tax Act, 1961) on investments.

8. Peerless Mid Cap Fund

This fund is designed towards fostering medium to long-term capital growth by investing primarily in equity and equity related instruments of mid-cap companies.

9. Peerless Flexible Income Fund

This fund is aimed towards generating consistent returns through active duration management of the portfolio, simultaneously at the same time maintaining liquidity composition by investing in debt securities such as bonds, debentures.
