About RBL Bank

RBL Bank was incorporated as a small, regional bank in Maharashtra with two branches in Kollapur and Sangli in the year 1943. The bank was founded by a group of eminent patriotic personalities to cater to the needs of the small and medium merchants in the Kollapur-Sangli belt. In the last few years, RBL Bank has shown a tremendous growth and has infused capital of over ₹2,000 Crore from leading domestic and global investors. In the year 2015-16, RBL registered a profit of ₹292 Crores and paid a dividend of 15%.
