Accommodations at Economical Price in Leh Ladakh

The first and foremost thing that comes to mind when you plan a trip out of the station is, where to put up. Since people are going to explore the place and not to stay in hotel rooms and guest houses, people look for accommodations which are cheaper yet comfortable. And it is quite right as well, for, why to waste the hard earned income when you have the option to save it. With this insight let's start our venture in the north .

If we talk about Leh Ladakh, in particular, the northern paradise of India, hardly anyone would confine in the four walls of the room. You just need the accommodation to keep your belongings and get ready. But that doesn't mean you have to compromise with your comfort. Before, checking in any guest house or hotel, inquire about the following things-

• Whether the rent charges include meal charges or not- Rent charged may or may not include meal charges. Ask the authority about the number of meals (breakfast, lunch and dinner) they provide and the rent of the hotel with and without a meal.
• Whether they accept plastic money (credit cards/ debit cards) – There are few hotels in Leh Ladakh which accept plastic money. To rest of them, you need to pay in cash.
• Water Supply- Warm water supply is time restricted in some of the hotels and guest houses.
• Transport Facility- You need to know how will you commute to various sights from the place you are residing in.

Apart from guest houses and hotels you can lodge-in at home stays. The home stays are cheaper and more economical. The price of home stay ranges from Rs.200- Rs.400.

It is advisable to stay in hotels, guest houses and home stays registered with the government. The government recognized stays assures safety and  prices are stable.
