About United Bank of India

United Bank of India has truly united the soul of the country by bringing a smile on every face possible. It was established when four traditional banks were unified with one another in the year 1950. Hence it got the name United bank of India. It was nationalised on July 19, 1969. During that time it had about ₹ 112 crores of advances, 174 branches in the country and ₹  147 crores of deposits. The main head office of the bank is in Kolkata, which is the former capital of our nation. Currently, the bank has spread its 1999 branches and offices to different cities and towns. The bank is doing quite well on the business front with ₹ 2 lakh crore as its total business. It has a three tier setup which includes main head office, offices and branches.

United Bank of India is working on ways to come out as dynamic and financially sound bank India which can always satisfy the needs of the customer.  It has recently started being innovative to tackle the phase of demonetisation. It launched mobile ATM counters for rural areas which don’t have any kind of access to banks or ATMs. When it comes to meeting the needs of Hyderabad, United bank of India has always be the first one to offer its service.
