About Jammu and Kashmir Bank
J ammu and Kashmir bank is one of the emerging banks in India. The bank was established in the year 1938 and became operational in the year 1939. It was set up by Maharaja Hari Singh who opened it by issuing the letter patent. He invited many noted and eminent personality to become the directors and shareholder of the bank. Two out of ten branches fell on the other side and with the loss of two branches the cash and other assets was also lost.
