About State Bank of Hyderabad

Ever since its establishment in the year 1941, State Bank of Hyderabad has been one of the leading public sector banks in India. The bank is also one of the five associate banks of State Bank of India and one of the scheduled banks in India. In the year 1956, Hyderabad saw the break-up that resulted in the split of many districts from the state and its emergence with Karnataka and Maharashtra. After which, the bank continued to conduct government transaction in their new states as well. In the same year, Reserve Bank of India took over the bank as its first subsidiary and then renamed it as State Bank of Hyderabad.

SBH has more than 2,000 branches spread all over India and Kolkata is one of them. The dedicated 18,000 employees of the bank have been working under the guidance of present Chairman Mrs. Arundhati Bhattacharya and Managing Director Shri Mani Palavesan who believe in providing the products that they desire and they can afford. Having said that, the low-interest rates, higher loan amount, easy repayment with flexible tenure facility on loans make them different from others. The investment products of the bank are also designed by keeping in minds the high expectations of the people when they invest their money. The bank has been successfully meeting all the expectation of the people of Kolkata as well.
